OB/GYN James Hobby, MD Joins SIHF Healthcare in Belleville, Illinois
SIHF Healthcare is pleased to announce OB/GYN James Hobby, MD, has joined its team at 7210 West Main, Belleville, Ill.
Dr. Hobby recently completed his residency training with the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind. He has a particular interest in underserved medicine and global health. As a resident, he was a member of the program’s global health track and traveled to Kenya for clinical work. He has also traveled to Peru, the Philippines, China and Uganda on short-term medical missions.
“It is both an honor and a privilege to practice medicine in the field of OB/GYN,” says Hobby. “I look forward to building relationships with patients and working alongside them to meet their healthcare needs over the years to come.”
Hobby received his Doctor of Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
He is currently accepting new patients in Belleville and appointments may be scheduled by calling (618) 394-0712.
