Celebrating over 10 years in transporting our patients!
Transportation is readily made available to SIHF patients who need rides to medical appointments and community health education programs. With a fleet of seven vehicles, this first-of-its-kind program has increased patient well-being by providing transportation to wellness visits and health education sessions.
Transportation is offered in the St. Clair County service
area including Kenneth Hall Regional Hospital, Touchette Regional Hospital and several health centers for Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation.
Our transportation department has 9 drivers experienced in taking patients to and from doctors appointments, community health education classes, health screanings, and programing activities.
In 1996, the department started with providing 950 two-way trips to 9,231 two-way trips in 2007.
