Title: Biller

Description: Review and calculate office, hospital, nursing home and dental charges and payments for services rendered by the providers. Input charges accurately and timely in the computer, and post charges and payments into the patient’s account history.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED and one to three months related experience required.

Title: Dental Assistant

Description: Assist Dentist in the care and treatment of SIHF patients in addition to performing duties of reception, chair side assisting, referrals, x-rays, inventory and records.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or a GED equivalent required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Dental Assistants. Previous dental assistant experience preferred.

Title: Health Center Manager

Description: Manages the operations of assigned Health Center(s). Ensures that the health center(s) are operated in a customer focused manner that achieves compliance with the fiscal, quality, customer, and operational benchmarks as established.

Education Requirements: A Bachelors degree in a healthcare or business related discipline from an accredited college or university is highly preferred. A minimum of four years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare organization, preferably in a managed care or ambulatory care setting is required. Eight years of substantial management experience in the health care industry may be substituted for the degree.

Title: Office Manager

Description: Manages the operations of assigned Health Center(s). Ensures that the health center(s) are operated in a customer focused manner that achieves compliance with the fiscal, quality, customer, and operational benchmarks as established.

Education Requirements: Requires a minimum three (3) years medical experience, two (2) of which must include supervision within a medical related facility. Experience with computer systems and working knowledge of administrative policies are necessary.

Title: LPN

Description: Responsible for providing direct patient care or individualized nursing care under the direct supervision of a provider.

Education Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited program for LPN and hold a current license to practice in the State of Illinois. Ambulatory care experience preferred.

Title: Medical Assistant

Description: Responsible for providing direct patient care and/or direct ancillary support services as directed by the provider or other medical staff/nursing staff.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or a GED equivalent required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants. Certified/Registered preferred. Requires knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.

Title: Patient Registration Clerk

Description: Perform all duties related to the registration and preparation of patient encounters, patient and payment assessment and referral, and post-encounter duties associated with billing and medical records.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Title: RN

Supervisor: Responsible for planning and carrying out individualized nursing care based upon accurate assessment and evaluation of the actions performed according to the treatment plan prescribed by the provider.

Education Requirements: Requires either a degree from an accredited School of Nursing or a Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) with previous ambulatory care experience or an Associate Degree with five (5) years ambulatory care experience or a Master Degree with one (1) year experience. Must hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
